2. Duct

Slope horizontal ducts toward a drain point to collect condensate.

Install access doors for cleaning and inspection.

3. Air Wet Scrubber

Air wet scrubbers remove contaminants from exhaust air by bringing it into contact with a scrubbing liquid (usually water or a chemical solution). They are essential when exhaust air contains water-soluble pollutants that cannot be released directly into the atmosphere.

 

How they work:

 Contaminated air enters the scrubber chamber.

Spray nozzles create a mist of scrubbing liquid.

Pollutants transfer from the air to the liquid droplets.

Cleaned air exits through a mist eliminator.

Contaminated liquid is collected and treated.

4. Activated Carbon Adsorption Filters

Activated carbon filters use the principle of adsorption to capture organic vapors and certain inorganic gases from exhaust air. The highly porous carbon material traps contaminant molecules on its surface.

 

How they work:

Exhaust air passes through a bed of activated carbon.

Organic molecules adhere to the carbon's porous surface.

Filtered air exits for release or further treatment.

Carbon is replaced or regenerated when saturated.
